ABOUT US

The Law Office Bekut was founded in May 2021 in Novi Sad and is determined to provide legal assistance to IT entrepreneurs and companies.

Efficient and professional legal assistance must be accompanied by solid knowledge in its respective field, as well as knowledge in the field of accounting and taxes.

Serious entrepreneurs and companies must not allow themselves to sign a contract they do not understand, much less a contract they have not read, or use some contract templates just to “have a paper trail.” Such “paper trails” are the most expensive contracts, and can lead to misdemeanor or criminal liability. An attorney at law is there to draft and clarify the contractual terms and to present them to the client in a easy-to-comprehend manner, as well as to point out the problematic clauses and potential risks.

MILOŠ BEKUT LL.M.

Born in Novi Sad in 1993.

He graduated from the the Grammar School “Isidora Sekulić” in Novi Sad in 2012, humanities-linguistics course.

He started his legal education at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad, general legal studies, in 2012, and graduated in 2016 with an average grade of 9.60.

In the second semester of the studies, he won the first prize at the oratory competition organized by the faculty on a given topic. In the last semestre of the studies, he became a scholarship holder of the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia “Dositeja”.

He completed his master’s studies at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad in 2017.

Passed the state general bar exam in January 2021. Passed the attorney at law bar exam in March 2021.

From October 2016 to October 2018, he worked in the legal department of the largest IT company in the Republic of Serbia, Schneider Electric DMS NS ltd. Novi Sad, where he performed tasks related to the analysis of software license agreements of maximum complexity.

From October 2018 to October 2020, he worked as an apprentice at law in the renowned Law Office Stanivuković and Partners, where he performed tasks related to providing legal assistance, primarily in the field of commercial (business), contract and enforcement proceedings law.

Completed two programming courses at the “SmartInIT” school, an accounting course and training for a tax advisor.

He is fluent in English and speaks French.

Limanac, a black belt first dan judoka, a fan of martial arts, “9gag” and beer.

Contracts

Drafting and analyzing all types of contracts, defining clearly the rights and obligations of the contracting parties in order to avoid misunderstandings and disputes, as well as monitoring the performance of contracts.

Software licence agreement

Drafting and analyzing a special type of contract concluded between the licensor ("IT company") and the licensees in order to regulate the use of the software.

Enforcement proceedings

Initiating enforcement proceedings and acting for creditors during the process for the purpose of debt collection in connection with delivered goods or provided services, with analysis of suspicious transactions of debtors.

Real estate transactions

Drafting and reviewing real estate purchase agreements and performing accompanying activities for the purpose of purchasing apartments, apartments under construction, houses, garages, etc.

Companies

Incorporation, dissolution and liquidation of entrepreneurs and companies, drafting of legal documents related thereto, giving opinion on the legality of business operations, as well as initiating bankruptcy proceedings.

Compensation for damages & loss

Acting for clients in out-of-court settlement procedures, as well as in litigation and arbitration proceedings in case when the parties have failed to resolve the dispute amicably.
